An appeal for funding for major alteration works has been launched by the Hon Sir William McAlpine Bt, President of the Railway Heritage Trust and Dame Margaret Weston, former Director of the Science Museum.

Stroud Preservation Trust has raised over £150,000 towards this high profile project so far.
